Rajesh Farms

Rajesh Farms is out in Paswanapuram, which you get to via Dg Puthur. It’s a bit out of the way, which is exactly how a farm should be. The air is a lot clearer out here than it is in the city. We spend our days mostly outdoors, checking on things and making sure the land is being looked after properly. We have a small building on the property where we keep the books and take our lunch breaks. It’s a simple life, really. We follow the seasons more than the clock. When the harvest comes, everyone is busy from sunrise to sunset. Other times, it’s a bit slower and we just do maintenance or prepare the tools for the next month. The road out here isn't always the best, especially after a heavy rain, but we have our tractors and trucks to get around. We aren't big on technology or fancy office gadgets. We prefer working with our hands and seeing the results of our labor in the fields. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the land pretty well. Rajesh Farms isn't some big corporate agriculture business. It's just us and the dirt. We take care of the animals and the crops as best as we can. It’s quiet at night, which is one of the best things about being located in Paswanapuram. We usually sit outside for a bit after finishing up before finally heading home.
