Sara Nursing College

We are situated right on the Palani Main Road in the Manakadavu area, which is a part of Dharapuram. If you are driving through the Tiruppur district, you might pass right by us on your way toward the hills. It is a nursing college, so you will often see students in their white uniforms going back and forth between the classrooms and the local clinics. The building itself is very functional and basic. We do not have marble floors or anything like that because we don't think it's necessary. It is about learning how to take care of sick people, so we focus more on the practical things. The labs have the hospital beds and the medical equipment you would expect to see. Tamil Nadu is a big state with many hospitals, so there are always young people wanting to join the profession. We have a routine here that starts very early in the morning. It is a lot of hard work for the students, and they spend a good amount of their time studying for their big exams.
