Mount Carmel Business School

Mount Carmel Business School is situated on Municipal Colony Road, right in the Veerappanchatram area of Erode. Being in a place like Erode means we are always surrounded by the hustle of the local textile trade and other businesses. It’s a practical place. We don’t go in for big, shiny displays. Instead, we have a functional building where students come to learn the basics of how things work in the professional world. Our location at 242/B is easy enough to find once you get into the colony. The office is usually a bit cluttered with files and application forms, and there’s always someone coming in to ask about admission dates or fees. We sit at our desks and try to get through the day’s work while the ceiling fans hum overhead. It gets quite hot here, so we appreciate the shade from the few trees we have out front. The students are mostly local youngsters looking to get a start in their careers. We talk to them like regular people, not like we’re in some big corporate headquarters. Sometimes we have tea together during the breaks and just chat about what’s happening in the city. It’s a straightforward environment without any pretense. We just focus on the daily tasks at hand and try to make sure the building is ready for the next day's lectures. It’s a modest setup but it works for us and the community here. We enjoy being in Veerappanchatram.
