We are located near the Collectorate in Erode. It’s a central spot, so it’s easy for most people to find us without much trouble. The area is usually quite busy with government offices and people going about their business. Our school is a modest building. It’s not very tall, but it spreads out a bit over the lot. We have a few trees in the yard that provide some shade during the hot Erode summers. The classrooms are basic, with the usual desks and chairs for the students. We keep the place clean, but it’s an older building, so there’s always something like a window or a door that needs fixing. The bell rings at nine o'clock sharp to start the day's lessons. We have a mix of students from different parts of the city. Some come by the school bus and others are dropped off by their parents on scooters or cycles. We don’t have any big flashy signs or any marketing. People just know we are here and what we do. The teachers focus on the textbooks and making sure the syllabus is finished on time for the exams. We have a small library where the kids can sit quietly and read. Lunchtime is the loudest part of the day, as you can imagine with all the kids in one place. We have a small office near the entrance where we take care of the paperwork and the bills. It’s a very standard, no-nonsense kind of place.
