Paliwal Higher Sec School

We are out on Sathy Road in the Pulimpatti area of Erode. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city center, which means we have a bit more space but also a lot of dust from the road. This is a higher secondary school, so we deal with the older kids who are getting ready for their big board exams. It’s a stressful time for them, and we try to keep them focused on their studies. The building is a sturdy, functional place. We have labs for science and enough classrooms for all the grades. It isn’t a luxury school. The benches are hard and the walls are a bit plain, but that’s fine for learning. Teachers here are hard workers. They spend a lot of time grading papers and staying late to help students who are struggling. We don't use a lot of fancy technology; it's mostly just chalk and talk. The yard gets quite hot in the afternoons, so everyone stays inside as much as possible. We’ve seen many batches of students graduate and head off to college from here. It’s a proud thing for a small place like ours. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, which is providing a place for local kids to get their education without too much fuss. It is a very straightforward way to run a school.
