Rp Modern Rice Mill

Rp Modern Rice Mill is situated at No:47, Aathiyur Pirivu in Ammapalayam. It is a place where you will always hear the steady hum of machinery. We deal with a lot of local farmers who come from all around the Ammapalayam area. The work is steady but it can be exhausting when the harvest season is at its peak. We have a few workers who have been with us for years and they know the machines better than anyone. The yard gets filled with sacks and the smell of toasted grain is everywhere. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or office furniture. We mostly have old wooden stools and a big scale that has seen a lot of use. The road at Aathiyur Pirivu can get quite muddy when it rains, which makes it hard for the trucks to pull in, but we always find a way to make it work. We aren't trying to be the biggest mill around, just a reliable one for the local folks. We spend our time checking the quality of the rice and making sure the hulling is done right. It is a lot of dust and noise, but it is our livelihood. We just open the doors every morning and see who comes by with a load of paddy. That is the life we have built here at number 47.
