Ponvel Food Products

We started Ponvel Food Products at No 56 in Sennimalai Thottam quite a few years back. Dharapuram is a quiet place and Thoppampatti Post is where we spend most of our days now. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. Just a space where we handle food items and make sure things are packed right. Sometimes the weather gets really hot here, so we have to adjust our working hours to get things done before the afternoon sun hits too hard. People around here know where we are. We don't really have a big sign or anything, just the gate at Sennimalai Thottam. My family helps out a lot. One person handles the inventory while another looks at the machines. It gets dusty sometimes when the wind blows through the open area, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We mostly deal with local supplies and whatever comes in from the nearby farms. It is a lot of work, honestly. There are days when the power goes out and we just sit around waiting for it to come back so we can finish the batches. It’s not a corporate life at all. We wear regular clothes, drink tea from the stall down the road, and just try to keep the business moving. You can usually find us there from early morning until the sun goes down. It is just a simple way of living and working for us.
