We deal with things like tapioca and maize starch. You’d be surprised how many things actually need starch to be made. We spend a lot of time checking orders and making sure the bags are shipped to the right places. It’s not a noisy factory floor here; it’s more about the logistics and the quality checks. Sometimes we have samples spread out everywhere while we’re comparing textures or colors. We’ve got a small team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. If the phone rings and the main person is out, someone else just picks it up. We aren't interested in being the most famous food company; we just want to make sure the starch we provide is what the client asked for. It’s a lot of paperwork and tracking shipments, but it’s what keeps the business going. We try to keep things organized, even when it gets a bit hectic towards the end of the month.
