Out here, the pace of life is a lot slower than the city. We spend our days dealing with the land and the harvest. The air is different here, especially early in the morning before the sun gets too high. We don't have a big marketing department or a flashy website. Most of our time is spent in the shed or out checking the rows of crops. Sometimes the tractor needs a part and we have to wait for someone to bring it from the main town. We pack our stuff in simple bags and don't worry too much about the labels looking perfect. It is more about what is inside the bag anyway. The road leading to our gate is narrow and a bit bumpy if you are driving a car. We have a small desk near the door where we keep the records. It gets dusty because the windows stay open most of the time. We work with the seasons, so some months are much busier than others. If it rains, we have to move everything inside quickly.
