Vc Gingelly Oil

Vc Gingelly Oil is our small operation located at No. 8/27 Mill Road in Gobichettipalayam. This area has a lot of history with mills, so being on Mill Road makes a lot of sense for us. We spend our time pressing and bottling oil. The smell of sesame is pretty strong around the building, which we’ve grown to like over the years. It’s a simple process, but it takes a lot of attention to get it right. Our facility isn't very large, just enough room for the machinery and the storage tanks. Gobichettipalayam is a nice place to work, even if it gets quite hot during the summer months. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything. Most of the time, we are just in the back making sure the machines are running properly and the bottles are filled. We sell to local shops and people who stop by the gate looking for a bottle. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. My hands usually feel a bit oily by the end of the day. We don't use any big words to describe the oil; it’s just what we make here. Sometimes the equipment breaks down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it ourselves. It’s just how things go when you run a small mill. We have a few regulars who have been buying from us since we first opened the doors. We just keep the mill going day by day.
