Our place is at 24 Bazaar Street in Sathyamangalam. If you know the area, you know how tight that street can get when the market is in full swing. We have been here for quite some time now, dealing with sugar and everything that goes along with it. It’s a bit of a loud business, especially during the peak seasons when the cane is coming in from the nearby fields. Sathyamangalam is a good place to be for this kind of work because the land around here is so tied to agriculture. We aren't some big city firm with shiny glass walls. Our office is just a regular building on the street where we can talk to the farmers and the traders who come through. Sometimes the heat in the bazaar is almost too much, but we just keep the fans going and keep working. Dealing with sugar means you have to understand the seasons and how the prices change, which keeps us pretty busy most months. We don’t really bother with fancy advertisements or big promises. We just try to be fair and do the work that needs doing. Most of the people working here are locals from around the district, so we all know each other well. It feels more like a family than a corporation, which makes the long hours and the sticky air of the sugar trade a little easier to handle for everyone.
