Seagull Hotel

We have been here at No.2/18 on Calvathy Road for quite a while now. Fort Kochi has changed a lot since we first opened the doors, but the view of the water stays pretty much the same. You can see the big ships passing by and the smaller fishing boats if you look out at the right time. The building is old, and it shows in some places, but we try to keep things clean and functional for anyone stopping by. It gets a bit noisy during the day with the port nearby and all the tourists walking around Cochin Ho, but that is just how life is in this part of town. Sometimes the sea breeze is nice and cool, and other times it just feels damp. We don't have anything fancy or high-tech. It is mostly just a place to stay while you explore the old streets or wait for a ferry. Most of us who work here live nearby, so we know the shortcuts and where to find a good tea. We keep the lobby simple. The furniture has been around for years. People come from all over, some just for a night, others stay longer to watch the sunsets. It is a bit worn out around the edges, but we like it that way. It feels real. If you are looking for the center of everything in 682001, we are right there by the water, just doing our thing day after day.
