Sea Food Carber Family Rest

Our restaurant is located in the X L Hotel on Rose Street, right near Fort Road in Ernakulam. We are very close to Vasco Da Gama Beach, so you can often feel the breeze coming off the water. It’s a family-run kind of place, and we’ve been in this spot for a long time. The building itself has that old Fort Kochi feel to it. Inside, it’s pretty basic with wooden tables and some old fans on the ceiling. We don’t try to be a tourist trap, even though we are in a touristy area. Most of the people who eat here are locals or travelers who want a quiet meal away from the main crowds. We focus on fish and other things we get from the market nearby. It’s not a fancy dining experience; it’s more like eating at someone’s house. The kitchen is small, so everything is made in small batches. Sometimes we run out of the daily special by mid-afternoon. We’ve got some old photos on the walls and the floor is a bit uneven, but it adds to the character of the place. It’s a good spot to sit down after walking around the beach all day. We’re just here every day, doing our best to serve honest food in this old part of town. It’s a quiet life here on Rose Street and we like it that way.
