Indial Sea Foods

At Alunkal House in Kannamaly, things move at a slightly different pace. We are Indial Sea Foods, and our office is basically part of this house. It is right in the heart of the community. Kannamaly is a place where you can feel the salt in the air sometimes, which makes sense for what we do. The house itself is sturdy and has been around for a long time. We have set up the front rooms as our main working area. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood children playing or the birds in the trees nearby. It is a lot different than working in a tall office building in the city. We don't wear suits or have formal meetings. Most of our decisions happen over a cup of coffee at the main table. Alunkal House has a lot of character, with its tiled floors and high ceilings. We keep our records in the back room and spend our afternoons dealing with the logistics of the sea food trade. People around here know us by name, and we like that personal touch. It is an honest way to live and work. We don't try to pretend to be a massive corporation. We are just a local business operating out of a family-style house in a coastal town. The gate is usually open, and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed most of the time. We just focus on the fish and the daily shipments.
