Chemmeens

People around Karuvelipady know where Chemmeens is mostly because of the junction. We’ve been at this spot for a long time now. It’s not a fancy place, just a building where we get things done every day. In the mornings, the traffic starts picking up early and you can hear the horns from the main road. We usually open up when the sun is just starting to get warm. There’s a lot of coming and going here. Some days are busier than others, especially when the trucks arrive or when locals stop by to ask questions. We don’t have any big posters or neon lights outside. It’s just the name on the wall. Sometimes the rain gets heavy and we have to move things away from the door. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the boxes and the desks, but we make it work. Most of us have lived around here our whole lives so we know the neighbors well. If you walk past Chemmeens Junction, you’ll see us through the open door. It’s loud because of the street noise, but that’s just how it is here. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor. The floors are a bit worn down from people walking in and out all day. We just focus on the work at hand and making sure everything is sorted before we head home in the evening. It’s a simple setup, really. Nothing more to it.
