Renaissance Hotel

Palarivattom is a busy spot in Kochi, and we are right there on PJ Antony Road at number 2310. The Renaissance Hotel has been around for a bit, and we’ve seen the road outside get busier and busier every year. It’s a humid part of the world, so we spend a lot of our time fighting the damp and making sure the fans and AC units are actually working. The hotel isn't anything fancy, just a solid building where people can stay when they have work in the city or are passing through to the coast. We don’t go in for any of those shiny advertisements. We just focus on the daily chores, like keeping the lobby swept and the registers updated. The staff here are local folks who know where the best tea shops are and how to get a rickshaw without overpaying. Some days the water pressure is a bit low, or the Wi-Fi acts up when it rains, but we do what we can to fix it quickly. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have a big mission statement; we just want to provide a place to sleep that doesn't cost a fortune. Most of our guests are regulars who know exactly what to expect when they walk in. We just keep things moving, one day at a time, making sure the rooms are ready for whoever shows up at the desk looking for a bed.
