This site is down on Edayar Road in Binanipuram at number 87. It’s an old industrial patch, and we’ve been part of the landscape here for a good while. The trucks come in and out all day long, which keeps the yard quite busy. There is a lot of movement, mostly involving heavy materials and shipping containers. We don't really do much in terms of decoration; the place looks like a work site because it is one. Most of the staff live nearby in the surrounding areas, so they walk or bike in. The rain in this part of the country can really slow things down when it gets heavy in the afternoons. We have to keep an eye on the drainage around the yard to prevent flooding. It’s a practical setup with a small office for the paperwork and some chairs for visitors. You won't find any slick salespeople here. Just guys in boots and hard hats doing their jobs. We mostly handle things for the bigger construction projects, but we see all sorts of people. The air smells like salt and industry. It isn't the quietest place to work, but we like the pace of it. Sometimes there’s a queue of lorries out on the road waiting to get into the bay. We do what we can to keep things moving along. It’s a simple operation at its heart, despite the size of the location. We just focus on the task.
