We've been at the High School Junction in Edapally for quite a bit now. Our place is right there in the Vithayathil Building, so you can’t really miss it if you’re driving through the area. Most days start pretty early because that's when the trucks usually arrive with the fresh stock of cement bags. It gets a bit dusty around the yard when we’re unloading, but that’s just how it is in this line of work. We aren't a massive corporate office with fancy suits. It’s mostly just a few of us making sure orders get sorted and the right people get their supplies. People from around the neighborhood stop by for a couple of bags for small repairs, and sometimes we get the bigger lorries for larger construction projects happening nearby. It’s steady work. We keep track of everything in old ledgers and a computer that sometimes acts up when it’s too hot out. Edapally has changed a lot since we first set up shop here, with more traffic and new buildings popping up everywhere. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out. If you walk past the building, you'll likely see someone checking the inventory or talking to a driver. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to supply the materials for all these houses being built. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the yard gets a bit messy during the monsoon season when everything is damp. It’s just how it goes.
