Greenvilla Holidays Hospitality Private Limited is tucked away on Vivekananda Lane, just off Elamakkara Road in Edapally. Being in Ernakulam, it gets pretty busy around here, but our little spot is a bit more tucked back. We’ve been at 49/1859 for a while now. Most of what we do involves helping people find a place to stay when they come to Kerala for their holidays. It’s not a giant hotel, it’s more like a home that we’ve set up for guests. We spend our mornings checking the kitchen and making sure the linens are fresh. Edapally is a good spot because you can get to the mall or the train station without too much trouble, though the traffic can be a real headache sometimes. We aren't some big corporate group with thousands of rooms. It’s just us here, keeping things organized. We handle the bookings and try to help people figure out where to eat or which bus to take. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit muddy, but we keep the inside nice and dry. It’s a practical business. We like meeting the families who stay with us. They come from all over, and it’s nice to hear their stories while we’re helping them settle in. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and try to keep our guests comfortable. It is a lot of work but it keeps us going.
