Carmelia Haven Hotel & Resorts

We are located right across from Bhavans School in Girinagar. It’s a decent area, and being opposite a school means it gets pretty lively in the mornings and afternoons when the kids are around. Our place is where we handle the bookings and all the management stuff for our rooms and spaces. It isn't a massive corporate headquarters, just a practical office where we answer the phones and talk to guests about their plans. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to hear the clock on the wall. We spend a lot of time looking at calendars and making sure everyone has a place to stay. The carpet is a bit worn in the spots where people walk the most, but it feels lived in. We try to keep the paperwork organized, though there’s usually a stack of invoices on the corner of the desk waiting to be filed. Dealing with travel and stays means things change fast, so we have to be ready for whatever comes up. We aren't trying to be the biggest place out there, just a reliable one where people can get their questions answered. It’s a lot of talk about room availability and checking on kitchen supplies. We’ve had the same furniture for a long time, and it shows, but it’s comfortable enough for us. Working here means we always know when it’s 3 o’clock because of the noise outside. It’s a good reminder that the day is almost over.
