Bluebox Architects

Our office is in South Panampilly Nagar, specifically at number 60/841. We are right near Koithara Park, which is a nice place to take a short walk when the office feels too small. We are a small team of architects working out of this part of Ernakulam. Panampilly Nagar has a certain feel to it, and we like being part of this neighborhood. Our work is mostly about figuring out how to make buildings look good and function well in this humid climate. We don’t have a polished marketing strategy. We mostly just rely on the work we’ve done before. When someone comes to us, we just sit around a table and start sketching ideas. There is no corporate ladder here; we all just pitch in and help out. Sometimes we spend hours talking about where a single window should go or how the light will hit the floor. It might seem like a lot of fuss to some, but it matters in the end. Our space is filled with books, rolls of paper, and lots of pens. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but it’s a creative mess that we understand. We aren't looking to be the biggest firm around. We just want to do good work for the people who live and work in this city. It’s a simple way of doing things, and it has worked for us so far.
