BERGSTAL ORGANIC RESORTS PRIVATE LIMITED

Our place, BERGSTAL ORGANIC RESORTS PRIVATE LIMITED, is at Door No.15/210, in the Gopuran House at Karayamparambu. It’s located in Karukutty P.O., which is a nice area if you want to get away from the main city noise. We decided to call it an organic resort because we try to keep things as natural as we can around the property. We have some land here and we spend a lot of our time gardening and making sure the trees are healthy. It’s not a high-tech resort with robots or anything. It’s just a house and some rooms where people can come to relax. My family helps out with the cooking and the cleaning. We don't have a big corporate board making decisions. We just decide what needs to be done each morning over coffee. Sometimes we are fixing a fence and other times we are painting the walls. It’s a lot of physical work, but we like being outdoors. We don’t spend money on big ads in the newspaper. Most people find us because they are looking for a quiet spot near Karukutty. We try to keep the atmosphere very relaxed, like you’re staying at a friend’s house rather than a commercial hotel. We aren’t perfect and things don't always go exactly to plan, but we do our best to make sure the place is welcoming for everyone.
