Anjali Carpet & Carpet Cleaners

We’ve been over here on Syrian Church Road for a while now, just doing what we do with carpets. People in the neighborhood usually find us near Basin Road or when they're coming from Shanmughom Road. It’s a busy spot, but we like it. Anjali Carpet & Carpet Cleaners isn't a big fancy operation. It’s just us working on rugs and cleaning things up for folks around here. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded with rolls of carpet everywhere, and you have to watch your step. We handle a lot of different jobs, some small and some taking up the whole afternoon. If you walk past the Syrian Church Road corner, you'll see the sign. It’s faded a bit from the sun, but it’s still there. Basin Road is just a stone's throw away, so we get people dropping things off on their way through. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure the work gets done right. It’s steady work, and we’ve gotten to know the regulars pretty well. The traffic on Shanmughom Road can be a headache sometimes, but it brings people by. We just focus on the carpets brought to us. We’ve seen all kinds of stains and wear over the years. It’s just what we do day in and day out. Nothing fancy about it at all. We just keep our heads down and work.
