You can find us at 7/461, right near the Abad Spicebay Apartments. Being that close to the apartments makes it easy for people to give directions to our place. We deal with fish and seafood, so there is always a bit of a salt smell in the air around the building. It’s a practical setup. We spend a lot of time checking what comes in from the coast and making sure it’s ready for whoever needs it. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. We wear boots and heavy aprons most of the time because it gets wet. The floor is usually being hosed down. We’ve been at this for a while, and the routine hasn't changed much. The trucks arrive, we unload, and then we start sorting. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when the catch is big. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. If someone needs seafood, they usually just hear about us from someone else in the trade. We just focus on the crates and the ice. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get good stock, but that’s just how the sea works. We take what we can get and do our best with it. It’s a straightforward business. No one here is trying to be famous. We just want to finish the day’s work and head home. The salt stays on your skin, but it is part of the life we chose.
