Giri Caterer

We are located over at Giri Namkin in the Kharangajhar area of Telco. It’s a spot that’s been part of the community for quite some time. Many people know us for different things, but the catering is a big part of our daily lives. Telco is a hardworking area, and we try to match that energy in our kitchen. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We’re just local people cooking for other local people. Our kitchen is usually full of the sounds of clanking pots and people talking over the noise of the fans. It’s a real, living workspace. We don't have a philosophy or a mission statement stuck on the wall. We just know that when someone hires us, they expect the food to be ready on time and to taste like home cooking. We spend a lot of time sourcing our ingredients and making sure we have enough of everything for the big events. It’s a lot of logistics, but after doing it for so many years, it becomes second nature. Sometimes things get a bit hectic when we have multiple orders going out at once, but we manage. We aren't a big corporation, so we handle everything ourselves, from the first chop of the onion to the final cleanup at the end of the night. It's just what we do every day to get by and keep the shop going in this neighborhood.
