St. Anthony'S College

We’ve been here in Shillong for a long time now. If you head up to East Khasi Hills, you’ll find St. Anthony'S College sitting right where it always has been. The weather up here gets pretty misty sometimes, which makes the campus look a bit different every day. People around Meghalaya know us mostly because their cousins or parents came here once. It’s not a fancy place where everything is perfect, but the stone buildings have a lot of stories in them. You walk through the halls and you can hear the rain hitting the roof during the monsoon months. It gets quite loud. Most days are just about getting things done and making sure everyone has what they need for their classes. We don’t have some big corporate office; it’s just the staff and the students trying to get through the semester. The pin code is 793001 if you’re trying to mail anything, but most people just drop by. It’s a busy spot in the mornings when everyone is rushing to get inside before the first bell. We’ve seen the streets around here change quite a bit over the years, with new shops popping up, but the college stays much the same. It’s just how things go in this part of town. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but we just keep going. I suppose it is a decent place to spend your years learning.
