Martin Luther Christian University

Martin Luther Christian University is set up here in Shillong. We are based out of the house of Mr. S.M. Kharbudon, which is located in the 793001 area. It is right in the middle of town, so it is easy for people to find us if they know the neighborhood. Being in a place like Shillong means we are used to the hills and the cold mornings. The office is not a big corporate tower, it is more of a local house that we use for university business. We have rooms for different departments and plenty of space for all the files we have to keep. Students are always coming by to check on their classes or to talk to the staff about their work. It gets a bit noisy during the day with all the talking and the phones ringing, but we don't mind it much. Mr. Kharbudon has been very helpful in letting us use this space for the university. We spend our days mostly doing paperwork and helping out whoever walks through the door. It is a lot of work to keep a university running, and we just do our part from this office. We don't have anything too fancy in the way of furniture or decorations. It is just a practical place where we can sit down and get things done. We have been at this address for a long time and we are a regular part of the street now.
