Goodwill College

Goodwill College is located up in Upper New Colony, which is a fairly quiet part of Laitumkhrah here in Shillong. If you are familiar with the 793003 area, you know that the roads can be a bit narrow and steep in places. We have been here for a while, just doing our thing in this building. The weather in Shillong can be pretty damp, so we are always dealing with a bit of moss on the walls or windows that stick when it rains too much. Inside, it is just a bunch of rooms with desks and chairs. We don't go in for anything too flashy. The staff mostly sits in a small room near the entrance where we keep all the files in old metal cabinets. Students are always hanging around the steps or near the gate during their breaks, usually wearing sweaters because it stays cool even in the afternoons. It is a simple life here. We don't have a big campus with a lot of grass, just the building and the space around it. People in the colony know us by now, and we mostly just blend into the neighborhood. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out, which is pretty common around here. We just try to keep the place organized so that everything runs the way it is supposed to. It is a bit cramped at times, but it works for what we need.
