Sri Venkata Chaitanya Fibre Products

Our workshop is located in Ida Phase-2 over in Ramanayyapeta, right across from Kamalapriya. Being in the industrial area means it’s never really quiet here. There is always a truck idling nearby or someone welding something down the street. We focus on fibre products and the work is pretty repetitive but we don't mind it. It’s honest labor. The building is a bit older and has that specific smell of grease and raw materials that you only find in places like this. We have a small crew and everyone knows their role without having to be told. Most of the day is spent on the shop floor making sure the output looks right. We don't have a receptionist or anything, so if someone comes to the door, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see what they need. The summers are the toughest because the metal roof picks up a lot of heat, but we have a few big fans that keep the air moving. We usually eat our lunch together near the back entrance where there’s a bit of a breeze. It’s not a glamorous setup by any means but it’s where we get things done. We’ve been in Ramanayyapeta for quite some time and we know most of the other shop owners on this block. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with whatever order is next on the list.
