Sri Satyanarayana Nursery Gardens

We are located right near the Kadiyam Dosalamma Temple. If you’re in the area, you can’t miss us because of all the green plants spilled out toward the road. Sri Satyanarayana Nursery Gardens is basically just a big plot of land where we grow whatever grows best in this soil. We have fruit trees, flowering shrubs, and a lot of indoor plants too. Most of our time is spent watering, pruning, and moving heavy pots around. It’s physical work and your hands are always dirty by the end of the day. We don't have a big office or a fancy showroom. We just have a small shack where we keep the tools and take payments. People come by from the temple or the surrounding villages to pick up something for their gardens. We don't really have a philosophy or anything. We just like plants and we know how to keep them alive. Sometimes the weather is too dry and we worry about the saplings, but that’s just part of the life of a nurseryman. We don't do any big advertising. The plants usually speak for themselves when people see them growing out front. It’s a peaceful way to spend the day, even if the sun is hot. We try to keep the gates open as long as there is daylight and someone is around to help.
