Sri Chaitanya Techno School

Jaggampeta is one of those places where everyone seems to know each other, and our school is right in the middle of that local life. Being in East Godavari, we get plenty of rain, which makes the trees around the building look really green for a few months of the year. The school itself is a practical building, nothing too modern, just lots of windows and heavy doors. We have a lot of students coming in from the nearby villages, so the mornings are always a bit of a rush at the main entrance. You’ll see bicycles parked everywhere and parents dropping off their kids before heading to work in the fields or shops. Inside, the rooms are filled with rows of wooden benches that have seen better days. We try to keep things tidy, but with so many kids around, there is always some dust or a stray piece of paper on the floor. The teachers here are mostly locals who have been with us for a long time, so they know the families well. During the lunch break, the smell of home-cooked food fills the corridors as everyone opens their tiffin boxes. It’s a loud, lively place until about four in the afternoon when the buses pull up and everyone heads home. Then it gets quiet, and we just walk through the empty rooms to turn off the lights and lock the gates.
