Narayana E Techno School & Jr.College

Our place, Narayana E Techno School & Jr.College, is at 1-182 on Old Post Office Road in Anaparthi. Being in East Godavari, we get some beautiful weather, but it can get quite humid too. The school and the junior college are basically together, so we have a mix of younger kids and teenagers all in one area. It makes for a loud and busy atmosphere, especially in the mornings when the buses arrive. We’ve been at this location for a good bit of time. The old post office road is a familiar landmark for everyone in Anaparthi, so nobody ever gets lost trying to find us. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. Most of our walls are just plain, maybe with a few charts here and there. We focus on the books and the exams because that’s what the parents in this area are concerned about. Our staff members are often seen having tea together during the breaks. We are a tight-knit group. When something breaks, we don't call a big company; we usually know someone in town who can come and fix it for us. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't put on airs or pretend to be more than a school and college. We are just here to help the students get through their studies. We make sure the water tanks are cleaned every week and the benches are dusted. It's a lot of small tasks that keep the place going every day.
