Our place is at A-1/1 in Nuthu Colony Chowk, right in the Ramnagar area of Shahdara. It’s a very busy neighborhood with local shops and people walking around all day long. Vezlay Foods Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this spot for a good while. It gets pretty hectic here. Shahdara has its own kind of energy, and we are right in the thick of it. Our building is easy to spot if you are familiar with the chowk. We spend our days managing the food production and talking to the people who supply us. It is definitely not a quiet office. You can hear the traffic and the horns from the street outside most of the day. We have a small group of workers who show up early to get the machinery started. We’re mostly focused on making soy-based foods, and it’s a lot of work to get the textures just right. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just a few of us making things happen. Sometimes the narrow streets around here make getting deliveries in and out a bit of a challenge, but we’ve figured out the best times for it over the years. We take our breaks when things slow down a bit. It’s a very grounded, local type of business. We’ve grown slowly, just adding a bit more equipment as we go. It’s just how we do things in this part of town.
