Today Tea Limited

Today Tea Limited is up on the fourth floor of Roots Tower. We have units 409 to 412. Laxmi Nagar is a very crowded place, especially around the District Centre. It is always a struggle to find a lift that is not completely full in the mornings. Our office is where we handle all the tea business. It smells like tea leaves most of the time, which is actually quite nice for the staff. We have samples sitting on almost every desk, and little tasting cups everywhere. It is not a very quiet office; there is always someone talking about shipments or tasting a new batch from the gardens. We are not one of those modern offices with fancy furniture or bean bags. We have wooden chairs and standard metal desks that have been here for years. The view from the window is just other grey buildings and the metro line going past. We have been in Roots Tower for several years now. Everyone in the building knows us as the tea people. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and distributors. It gets a bit chaotic when a big order comes in and we have to move fast. But we like the buzz of the District Centre. Most of us take the metro to work because finding a parking spot in Laxmi Nagar is almost impossible. We are just regular people who happen to know a lot about different types of tea.
