Barista Creme

Barista Creme is tucked away in West Azad Nagar at 11/156B. It is a small spot, nothing too loud. We have been serving the neighborhood for a bit now. The morning starts early here because people need their caffeine before they head to the metro. Delhi-51 is a busy area, lots of shops and houses mixed together. Our counter is not very large, so things get tight when three or four people are waiting at once. We do not have fancy uniforms, just comfortable clothes because we are on our feet all day. Sometimes the milk delivery is late and we have to scramble to find some nearby. The street outside can be quite noisy with all the honking, but inside we try to keep it steady. We focus on getting the orders right. Some regulars come in every single day and we know exactly what they want without them saying a word. It is nice to have that connection with the locals. We are not trying to be some giant chain. We just like making drinks and seeing people enjoy them. The floor needs sweeping constantly because of the dust from the road. When the weather is nice, people linger a bit longer. Most of the time, it is just a quick in and out. We keep the machines running and the beans stocked. It is simple work but we stay busy.
