Timekeeper

We run Timekeeper over in C Block, Pandav Nagar. It is not a very big space but we have what we need to get through the day. Mostly we deal with watches and those old-fashioned clocks people still keep in their hallways. Being in New Delhi, it stays pretty busy outside our door, but inside it is mostly just the sound of ticking. I started this because I liked how things worked. Now, I spend most of my time looking at tiny screws and springs that are hard to see without a lamp right over them. We keep the address simple, just here in the neighborhood where folks can find us easily. Sometimes a neighbor drops by just to chat while we swap out a battery or fix a broken glass face. It is not fancy work, but it keeps us busy. We don’t have any big signs or neon lights. Just the name on the front and a bunch of tools on the desk. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered with parts and boxes, but I know where everything is. The floor is a bit uneven in the corner near the window. I've been meaning to fix that for months but never got around to it. We have a small shelf where we keep the finished jobs waiting for pickup. Sometimes people forget their watches for months and I have to call them up and remind them. If you come by, you might see me sitting in the back with a cup of tea. We are just here.
