Ateeq-Ul-Haque

I run my business out of Ramesh Park in Laxmi Nagar. It’s a busy neighborhood in New Delhi, and my place at R-225 is right in the middle of it all. Working under my own name, Ateeq-Ul-Haque, means I take things personally. There isn't a big staff here, just me and a couple of others helping out with the daily tasks. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city; we just want to do our work and go home. Laxmi Nagar is always crowded, and the lanes can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to them. I’ve lived and worked around here for years, so I know the shortcuts. My office isn't anything special, just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of files. We don't use fancy talk or try to impress anyone with corporate jargon. If someone needs something done, they come by or call, and we see if we can help. It’s a very direct way of doing business. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we sit by the window to get some light. That’s just life in this part of Delhi. I spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting people who stop by the park. It’s honest work, and I like the fact that I know my neighbors. We don't have a mission statement, just a daily routine of getting things finished.
