Tandoori Tadka

You can find Tandoori Tadka at shop number 21 in the DDA Market over at Defence Enclave. We are right near the Vijay Sales in Preet Vihar, so it’s a pretty easy spot to locate if you’re out shopping or running errands in Delhi. The market is always buzzing with people, and our little corner is no different. We started this place because we wanted to serve the kind of food we like eating at home. It’s not a big restaurant, just a small space where we focus on the tandoor. The smells from the spices usually drift out into the market, which helps people find us. We keep the seating simple and practical. It’s not the kind of place where you’d expect white tablecloths or anything. Just some chairs and tables where you can sit and eat. We get a lot of regulars from the neighborhood who come by almost every day. Sometimes we run out of certain items if it’s been a particularly busy afternoon. We try to keep up, but it’s just a small team in the back. The noise of the market is part of the experience here. We’ve been at this location for a while and have seen the area change, but we keep doing things the same way. It’s honest work and we enjoy seeing the same faces coming back.
