Solitaire Guest House

We run this guest house on Vikas Marg, specifically at A 135-138 in Shakarpur. It’s right in the middle of all the noise and bustle of Delhi. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it never really sleeps. We have been here for some time now, offering rooms to people who need a place to stay while they're in the city for work or visiting family. It’s not a five-star hotel with a massive lobby, just a practical setup for those who want to be near the metro and the markets. The building is a bit older, and the stairs can be narrow, but we keep it clean. We spend a lot of our day just making sure the rooms are ready and talking to whoever comes through the door. Some people stay for a night, others stay for a week while they finish their business. Since we are right on the main road, it’s easy to find, though traffic can be a nightmare during rush hour. We don’t have a big fancy website or anything like that. People usually just call us or walk in. We’ve got a few staff members who have been with us for years. We eat our lunch in the small back room and keep an eye on things. It’s a simple living for us, and we like being part of the Shakarpur community. There is always something happening outside our door.
