Our place is over at 99, Fie Patparganj, which is a busy industrial area if you have ever been. Shan-E-Delhi Marketing Pvt. Ltd. started out small and we just stayed in this spot because it is convenient for the trucks. The office isn't much to look at, just a few partitions and a small area where we keep the samples. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to vendors and trying to figure out the delivery schedules. The traffic around Patparganj can be a real headache in the evenings, so we usually try to wrap up early if we can. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know each other's families and what is going on. We aren't trying to be some giant company that doesn't know its own people. When the tea man comes around at four, everything stops for ten minutes. That is just our routine. We handle a lot of different products and move them across the city. Sometimes things get messy in the storage area, but we eventually get it sorted. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We do not have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just have a calendar and a list of things that need to get done before the sun goes down. It is a bit loud with the nearby factories, but we like the energy of the place.
