Sanjog

You can find us, Sanjog, at 6, FIE in the Patparganj Industrial Area. It’s a bit of a gritty spot, surrounded by factories and workshops, but that’s where we’ve been for quite some time now. Being in an industrial zone means our days are dictated by the shifts of the workers around us. We see a lot of people in the afternoons when everyone is looking for a quick lunch break. It’s not the kind of place you come for a fancy night out, but it’s a solid spot for a regular meal. The building is functional and we’ve kept the interior simple so it’s easy to maintain. We don’t have a lot of extra space, so things can get a bit tight during the peak hours. Our staff is mostly made up of people from the local neighborhood who know the area well. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that; we just rely on the fact that people know we are here. The noise of the machinery and the trucks outside is something we don't even notice anymore. We just keep our heads down and do the work, making sure there’s enough food for everyone who walks through the door. It’s a busy life, and sometimes it's a bit overwhelming with the heat and the crowd, but we’re used to it. It’s just how things go in Patparganj.
