J & B Medical & Surgicals

We run J & B Medical & Surgicals out of Priyadarshni Vihar, specifically at B 201. It is a bit of a quiet residential area, but we’ve got everything piled up in here, from basic bandages to the more specialized surgical tools that local doctors ask for. We started this place because we saw how hard it was for people in the neighborhood to find specific medical items without driving all the way across the city. It's mostly just us handling the stock and answering the phone when someone needs a price on a wheelchair or some gauze. The shop isn't much to look at, just shelves full of boxes, but we know exactly where everything is located. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and we have to tell people to wait an extra day, which isn't great, but that’s just how it goes some days in this business. We see a lot of the same faces, like local clinic staff or families taking care of someone elderly at home. It’s practical, necessary work. We spend a lot of time checking expiry dates and making sure the inventory is right. You won't find any flashy displays or bright lights here, just the stuff people actually need to get better or stay healthy. We like being in this part of town; it feels like a real community.
