Gurparsad Furniture

You can find us over at B-33 in Laxmi Nagar, right on Vikas Marg. It’s a pretty lively spot, and being on such a major road means there’s never a dull moment. Gurparsad Furniture is basically a local shop where we’ve got a bit of everything crammed in. We’ve got beds, dining tables, and those big wooden cupboards that take four people to move properly. Because space is a bit tight in Laxmi Nagar, we have to be careful how we stack things so people can actually walk through the shop without tripping over a chair leg. It’s a bit dusty because of all the cars and buses going past on Vikas Marg, but we try our best to keep the furniture looking sharp. We don’t really do the whole high-pressure sales thing. Usually, people just walk in, touch the wood, sit on a few sofas, and ask about the price. We tell them what it’s made of and how long it’ll take to deliver. Sometimes we’re out back fixing a drawer or polishing a finish that got scuffed during transport. It’s just us running the place, so if we’re busy with one customer, the others just have to wait a minute or look around. It’s a very neighborhood-focused kind of business. We’ve known some of the families around here for years, and they keep coming back whenever they need a new stool or a bookshelf for their kids.
