Baharat Furniture

Baharat Furniture is located over at 13-14 in Mahila Colony. We are right in the Gandhi Nagar area, which stays pretty active most days. The shop is basically two units put together so we have enough room for the sofas and cupboards. It isn't a high-end store with bright lights, just a place where we keep our stock and talk to people who come in. We’ve got a lot of wooden pieces crammed in here. Sometimes it’s hard to walk between the aisles because we try to fit as much as we can on the floor. My family helps out with the daily tasks, like dusting the tables or helping move the heavy wardrobes around. It gets hot in the summer because we don't have a big cooling system, just a few fans going. We spend a lot of time just moving things back and forth to show people what’s available. The neighborhood is friendly, and we know most of the shop owners nearby. We don't really use fancy words to describe what we have. It’s just furniture that people need for their houses. We open up early in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. It’s a basic life, but we like being part of the Gandhi Nagar community and doing what we know how to do best, which is just selling furniture. Sometimes customers bring us snacks while they browse, which is always a nice thing.
