Activ Concept Furniture

You can find us on the main road at 1/53 in Lalita Park. We are right on Vikas Marg, which is a very busy stretch of road. There is almost always a line of cars outside and people rushing to the metro or their offices. Activ Concept Furniture has been here for a while. We occupy a ground-floor space that makes it easy for people to duck in and out. Since we are on a main road, things get pretty dusty, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass and the furniture pieces. It is a straightforward operation. We have a few rows of different furniture setups. We aren't designers with big degrees; we just know what looks decent and what holds up over time. The shop is often a bit cramped because we try to show as much as we can in the space we have. We don't have any formal mission statements hanging on the walls. We just come in, open the shutters, and wait for the day to start. Usually, we are talking to customers about measurements or showing them how a certain hinge works. It’s basic stuff. We know our neighbors in Lalita Park well. We help each other out when someone needs a hand moving something heavy. It’s a friendly vibe despite the chaos of the traffic outside. We just do our best to keep the shop running on a busy corner. It’s hard work but we enjoy the daily routine.
