If you come over to Priyadarshani Vihar, you’ll find us at B-170. It’s more of a residential-looking area, so it doesn't feel like a big corporate park or anything like that. Our office is just a few rooms filled with computers, filing cabinets, and a lot of half-empty coffee mugs. We do a lot of back-and-forth communication with people in different time zones, so someone is usually here late at night or very early in the morning. The stairs are a bit narrow and the air conditioner makes a weird humming sound that we’ve all just gotten used to over the years. We handle all the shipping details and the boring customs forms that nobody likes doing. It’s a lot of sitting and typing, then jumping up when the phone rings. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit waiting at the door. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from a screen to see what you need. Lunch is often eaten at the desks while we’re looking at tracking numbers and talking about the weekend. Outside, the street is usually parked up with cars, and you can hear the local vendors walking by throughout the day. It’s a pretty standard way to spend the day. We’ve been in this building for a bit now, and while it’s a bit cramped with all the boxes of samples, it works for what we do. Just a small team trying to keep things moving across the ocean.
