Our place is at House Number 74, right in Gali Number 3 of Kundan Nagar. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how narrow the lanes can get. Finding a spot for a scooter is hard enough, let alone a car. Arcop Associates Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this small building for a while. It’s a very local feel here. You can hear the neighbors and the street noise all day long. We don’t have any fancy lobby or shiny signs. It’s just a regular house that we’ve turned into our workspace. Most of us live not too far away, so we just walk or ride over in the morning. The walls are filled with old calendars and notes we’ve stuck up over the months. We keep the chai kettle going pretty much all day long. There isn't much to say about how we work—we just take the jobs as they come and try to finish them without too many delays. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just part of being in this neighborhood. We know the people around here, and they know us. It’s not a corporate headquarters, just a place where we put in our hours and get the work done. We don't go in for big speeches or polished presentations. We just do the work and try to keep things moving along smoothly.
