You can find us at D-248 on 10th Street in Laxmi Nagar. Abhishek Overseas Lnc is a small office, and if you aren’t familiar with the street numbers in Laxmi Nagar, it might take you a minute to find us. We’ve got a couple of rooms and a small balcony where we keep some plants that barely survive the summer heat. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, chairs, and filing cabinets. We deal with a lot of international stuff, so our clocks are sometimes set to different time zones. It’s common to see someone here late at night or very early in the morning. We don’t have a big team. It’s just a handful of us who handle the paperwork and the phone calls. We usually have a lot of folders piled up on the main table. Sometimes it looks like a mess, but we have a system that works for us. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going. The neighborhood is crowded and there’s always someone shouting outside or a bike zooming past. We don’t really mind the noise anymore. It feels like home to us. We don’t have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just want to get through the day’s tasks and make sure our clients get what they need on time. It is a lot of back and forth, but we manage it okay.
