Basuki Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are based in Bamandiha village. Most of us here in Jarmundi have been farming our whole lives. Basuki Farmers Producer Company Limited started because a bunch of us locals around Chamrabahiyar needed to work together more. It’s mostly just Jugal Kishor Raut and the rest of the group trying to manage things from here. We handle the day-to-day stuff right from the village. It isn't a big office or anything fancy. We just deal with what the farmers bring in and try to get things sorted for the season. The weather here in Dumka can be tricky sometimes, so we spend a lot of time talking about crops and seeds. Being out in Bamandiha, we are pretty far from the main city areas, so we rely on each other. If you come looking for us, we're over by Chamrabahiyar post office area. It’s a quiet place, mostly fields and small houses. We don't have a big staff, just people from the neighborhood who know about land and cows. We focus on the work itself rather than talking about it much. It’s hard work, but it's what we know. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but we get through it. That’s pretty much how we run things here. We just stay busy with the farming cycles and making sure the local produce gets where it needs to go without too much trouble.
