Mihir Bar & Restaurant

We run Mihir Bar & Restaurant out in Diu over in the Ashok Nagar colony area. It’s a pretty straightforward place where people come to sit down and have a drink or something to eat after they are done with their day. Diu is a small place so we see a lot of the same faces coming in throughout the week. We have been here for a while and the building is just a regular spot that locals know well. It’s not one of those fancy tourist traps you see near the main beaches. We keep things pretty simple with the seating and the menu. Usually it’s just me or one of the guys behind the bar and a couple of people in the back kitchen. The evenings are usually when it picks up a bit. We get people stopping by on their way home or just looking for a quiet spot to talk. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when a big group comes in but mostly it’s just regular talk. We don’t have any big signs or anything too bright outside. It’s just Mihir. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and making sure the fridge is stocked for the next shift. Dealing with the salt air from being near the coast means we always have to keep an eye on the maintenance of the place. It is just honest work that we do day in and day out and we are fine with that.
